Graphic Designer (Contract)

Location: Houston, TX (On-Site, 5 Days/Week)

Duration: Contract - 1 Month

Pay Rate: Competitive, Based on Experience

Target Start: ASAP

Reporting To: VP of Marketing

Position Overview

A growing technology solutions organization is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to support a wide range of creative, digital, and multimedia initiatives. This is a hands-on role focused on producing high-quality visual content, strengthening brand presence, and supporting marketing efforts across print, web, digital, and video.

The Graphic Designer will work closely with marketing leadership, internal teams, and event stakeholders to ensure creative assets are planned, produced, and delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create graphics and marketing materials

Produce and edit videos for social media, events, and internal communications

Design layouts for print, web, digital, and mobile platforms

Create marketing assets for tradeshows, customer events, and partner programs

Support digital media strategies including email campaigns, website updates, digital advertising, and social media

Plan, film, edit, and produce high-quality photos and videos

Ensure proper lighting, sound, and equipment setup for video production

Collaborate with the marketing team and contribute creative ideas for campaigns

Maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs

Perform other related creative duties as assigned

Project Environment

Fast-paced marketing environment with multiple concurrent initiatives

Mix of digital, print, and multimedia design projects

Frequent collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams

Regular support for company events, campaigns, and internal communications

On-site environment requiring hands-on production work

Required Qualifications

4+ years of professional graphic design experience

Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

Experience with video editing and multimedia production

Knowledge of WordPress and basic web content management

Understanding of traditional, digital, mobile, and social media design best practices

Strong portfolio demonstrating depth and versatility

Ability to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work on-site full time in Houston, TX

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field

Experience supporting event marketing or tradeshow design

Familiarity with SEO, social media strategy, or email marketing tools

Experience with digital advertising asset creation
